Flora V. Taylor (b. 1964) served in the Army Reserve from 1983-1985 and as a storekeeper in the Coast Guard from 1985-2005. Flora Taylor was born in Memphis, Tennessee in 1964. She attended State Technical Institute at Memphis, Tennessee, and joined the United States Army Reserve in December of 1983, attending boot camp in Fort Jackson, South Carolina in April of 1984. She then changed branches of service to enter the United States Coast Guard, where she completed Coast Guard basic training. Her first duty station was in Savannah, Georgia.
